If you are a parent and you need to locate child care, ERC can help, at no cost
ERC is regulated by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment to make child care referrals.  ERC is the only regulated child care resource and referral agency serving Brown, Doniphan, Douglas, Franklin, Jackson, Jefferson, Nemaha, Osage and Shawnee counties. Our services assist parents and child care providers alike.

ERC’s goals include empowering parents to recognize and choose good quality child care, as well as to assist people in balancing work and family issues. We will help you:

·         Find out which regulated child care facilities have openings.

·         Learn which facilities are available the hours and times you need.

·         Explore options on cost, transportation and types of child care facilities. 

ERC supplies tips on interviewing and selecting the best provider/facility for your child, as well as materials on parenting classes, support groups, activities for children and creative ways to encourage child development.
