Overview of Services

Every day Child Care Aware® of Northeast & North Central Kansas helps people find solutions for their child care needs, shares information about community resources, and assists early learning programs with their services to children and families.  Anyone can take advantage of the many services available through us. The agency has no eligibility requirements, and with few exceptions, our services are at no cost.  .

Child Care

Child Care Aware® of Northeast & North Central Kansas is the child care call center for the 785 area code. 

Call us at 1-877-678-2548 to begin your customized child care search, or begin your search online by clicking on this online form. Our hours of operation are 8-5 Monday - Friday.

• Technical assistance and education opportunities for prospective and current child care providers 

Parenting

We offer education and networking opportunities for parents, a parenting “help line” with answers to your parenting questions, referrals to community resources, and a calendar of parenting classes in your community. Click here to view our family section.

General Referrals

Contact us for information about community resources for employment, housing, legal assistance, financial concerns, educational opportunities, and medical or psychological counseling. We offer a listing of places to turn in emergency situations, information about community events, agencies and organizations. We can also assist companies interested in helping employees with work/family issues.
