Serving 28 Kansas Counties...

Beginning April 1, 2011, we started serving 19 new counties in north central Kansas, in addition to the 9 counties in northeast Kansas that we had already been serving. Child Care Aware^® of Northeast & North Central Kansas now serves the 28 highlighted counties on the map below.

Who We Are

Child Care Aware^® of Northeast & North Central Kansas, previously ERC Resource & Referral, is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving families in northeast Kansas. We are supported through funds from United Way, Kansas Department for Children and Families (formerly SRS), Kansas Children's Cabinet, Shawnee county social service funds, memberships, contributions, grants and special projects. Support from the Designers' Showhouse, as grass-roots fundraiser where area designers and craftsmen transform a selected home each year for public tours and activities, also provides critical support for the center. Child Care Aware^® of Northeast & North Central Kansas maintains memberships in both state and national child care resource and referral associations (Child Care Aware^® of Kansas and Child Care Aware^® of America, respectively).
