Child Care Providers

Child Care Aware^® of Northeast and North Central Kansas provides a vital link between regulated child care programs and families needing child care. We supply parents with information about choosing high-quality child care programs and referrals to child care providers who match the criteria they supply. Providers who list their child care programs with our agency are contacted on a regular basis (about every six weeks) to update vacancy information, assuring that referral lists are accurate for families.

Child Care Aware^® of Northeast and North Central Kansas also provides:

FREE TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE AND CONSULTATION, by phone and in person, to help child care providers with issues or concerns. Special support is also available for providers caring for children with diverse needs, including physical and developmental disabilities.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT to meet licensing requirements and to help providers have information they need on curriculum ideas, child growth and development, guiding behaviors and MORE! Lending Library 

LIBRARY RESOURCES, including books on all early childhood topics, training DVDs, children's CDs, activity totes, Boardmaker, die cut machine and laminating machine. Additional resources include parent pages and brochures on common child development topics, connections to community resources, newsletters, information on upcoming professional development opportunities, and much more!
